Ren built Gavin his new toddler bed last weekend. What a big boy. He does really well staying in bed during the night, I'd even venture to say he really loves it. During the day however... he thinks its a game to keep coming out. He'll poke his head out of the bedroom and stand there smiling huge and wave to me and say "HI!" (repeated over and over) The first night was great cause he was really excited about it. He watched and "helped" Ren build it all day, so when it came time to get in the bed and sleep he loved it. He fell out the first night and he cried cause it scared him. So far now though, when he falls out he just goes back to sleep where he falls. we've been finding him in the middle of the floor, kneeling beside his bed like he was working on getting back in...but then fell back to sleep, and laying right beside the bed on top of the pillows we put by it. Funny boy. Now if only I could get him to stay in it during his naps like he does at night.
